Punto 3 is a consulting firm founded in Ferrara in 2003, which creates and deploys sustainable development projects that integrate the three dimensions of sustainability: environment, economy and social issues.
Punto 3 refers to the definition of sustainable development as provided by the World Commission on Environment and Development, known as the Brundtland Commission: "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
Punto 3 specializes in participatory processes, training, education and environmental communication.
Participatory processes
Coordinates and implements Local Agenda 21 and participatory processes for local authorities; runs work groups in participatory planning workshops, focus group investigations and active listening for private companies.
Training
Organizes training courses on issues of sustainable development, G.P.P, good environmental practices, energy saving and renewable energy, ecolabels and environmental brands, environmental communication tools, tools for analysis and environmental monitoring (RSA, sustainability indicators, initial environmental analyses).
Environmental communication
Designs and coordinates communication plans for environmental missions of companies and public bodies in compliance with the Aarhus Convention, media relations, organizes events (conferences, roundtables, exhibitions, attendance at fairs), creates Corporate Social Responsibility projects.

• Condomini sostenibili®: awareness and experimentation of best practices of sustainability within condominiums
• Sportello Ecoidea®: front office for citizens providing support for all actions of sustainability.
• Portal www.AcquistiVerdi.it ®: visibility tool for all Italian manufacturers and retailers of goods and ecological services.
• Acquisti Verdi Expo®: meeting/exhibition of companies producing products and ecological services, and public entities involved in Acquisti Verdi policies. The first edition was held in Viadana (MN) on 2 March, 2006.
Punto 3 has been a supporting member of the National Coordination of the Italian Local Agenda 21 since 2003.
