The island of Koh Phangan, covering 190km, is located in the Gulf of Thailand and is located approximately 14 km to the north of the island of Koh Samui. The island’s inhabitants, mostly resident in the main town of Thong Sala, make a living through fishing, growing coconuts or working in the tourist industry.
The inland area of the island is covered in luxuriant vegetation and is rich in waterfalls, animal and plant species. It is also home to some interesting temples, such as the Wat Nai, built over 400 years ago, the Wat Kow Tham and the Kuan Yin of Chinese inspiration.
Koh Phangan is also known for its “full moon parties”, held to celebrate the full moon and attracting many visitors to Haad Rin beach.
The TClub Rasananda stands on the island’s north-east coast, at the centre of the enchanting palm-fringed white sandy beach of Thong Nai Pan Noi, and offers a relaxed and informal environment in direct contact with nature.
The name Rasananda derives from Sanskrit and means “extreme happiness”, indicating the energy generated during meditation when the mind is still and the spirit becomes one with nature.  This is the spirit of Rasananda: creating an intimate, natural and comfortable experience, as if staying with friends or our favourite relatives, or going to our favourite restaurant where everyone knows our name. An authentic, warm and friendly service, in a relaxed but high standard context.
The resort is an oasis comprised of 44 villas and suites, spread over 200 metres along the sea front and backing onto a gently sloping green hill, where the spa is located.
There is a library available for moments of relaxation, offering novels and illustrated books, as well as Internet access. There is also a small boutique where guests can buy souvenirs, clothing and local crafts.
The sports centre is situated near the beach and rents out kayaks and snorkelling equipment, as well as organising boat trips to the numerous beaches and the island's best diving spots.
The main swimming pool lies between the reception and the beach and has a whirlpool area.
