Climate
Situated in the southern hemisphere, the seasons in South Africa stand in opposition to those of Europe.
In this extremely vast land, the climate can be quite different from one zone to another.
The Cape region enjoys a climate similar to that of the Mediterranean with possible rain and harsh temperatures in the winter months (July and August). The northern area, on the other hand, has a dry climate with a wide range between night and day temperatures, especially in winter. Rainfall is brief and intense and in concentrated in the summer months.
