Climate
The climate in New York is continental and influenced by winds blowing from the north and the region of the great lakes, with cold rigid winters and hot humid summers.
Due to its position, this area is characterised by an unstable climate, subject to sudden changes in the weather.

Currency
The United States currency is the dollar, divided into 100 cents. It is certainly advisable to obtain dollars before leaving Italy since the exchange rates applied at destination are rather unfavourable; this also ensures you have the necessary cash and small change on arrival for such initial expenses as taxis, underground railway, tips etc.
Time zone
Compared with Italy, there is a 6 hour difference all year round.
Vaccinations and health precautions
No vaccination is required. TClub offers basic insurance coverage with all tourist packages but, since the cost of medical care is particularly high in the United States, we suggest underwriting a supplementary policy for extra coverage.
