The small island of Tsarabanjina is situated in the archipelago of «Nosy Mitsio», about 40 miles north east of Nosy Be. The small islands (some uninhabited) making up the archipelago are of volcanic origin and alternate with spectacular black basalt rocky formations rising up from a sea of iridescent colours:  this is the enchanting scenario in which the TClub resort Constance Lodge Tsarabanjina is located. A very special sort of environment, which nonetheless has managed to preserve its laid-back and informal atmosphere, in direct contact with the surrounding nature. Simple accommodation that respects the natural environment and is able to enhance the characteristics of this site without neglecting to care for the comfort and relaxation of guests visiting this special little resort.

The island of Tsarabanjina has a rich vegetation and is surrounded by beautiful beaches of fine white sand, lapped by a crystal clear and transparent sea, whose colours are further enhanced by their contrast with the dark rocks delimiting its boundaries.
An artful and conscious use of local materials, together with respect for the nature of this location, make this a resort in perfect harmony with the philosophy promoted by TClub, that of environmentally conscious tourism.  Its highly characteristic and simple style will be appreciated by clients, especially those in search of relaxation and anxious to get away from the frequently frenetic pace of a western lifestyle.
The rooms have neither television nor phone. A satellite pay phone is however available at the reception. It is possible to use internet free of charge.
The resort has a boutique where visitors may purchase the traditional Malagasy handcrafted products.  Here guests may find small gifts and souvenirs to take home with them: objects in ebony wood, bois de rose or palisander, woods whose intrinsic beauty is enhanced by the art of carvers belonging to the Zafimanir school, as well as minerals, fossils and batik. There are also baskets, bags, mats, hold-alls and small animals, made from natural woven fibres and embellished by natural colours, which add a touch of preciousness to one of the humblest products of Malagasy handicrafts.

The bark of the “Avoha”, a semi-aquatic plant which grows in the south of the country, is also used by craftsmen to give life to objects such as photo albums, sheets of ‘paper’ and envelopes, caskets, gift paper, photograph holders etc.
The beach disposes of deckchairs and hemp mats, and beach towels are available in every room. Various sports activities may be carried out: windsurf, catamaran, kayak, water skiing, volley ball, tennis, ping pong, water gym, snorkelling and inland walks on the island. It is also possible to practice scuba diving and sportfishing, go on various excursions or have massages, but these activities will be charged extra.
