The Sands at Chale TClub resort disposes of 48 rooms of various types, 16 standard rooms and 2 penthouses. The latter are located in two respective stone buildings (towers) which were already standing prior to the creation of the resort. The penthouses are on the top floor of these buildings and may only be reached by means of a flight of stairs. From here it is possible to admire the luxuriant nature of the island and the iridescent colours of the surrounding sea.
The resort also has 11 superior rooms with a view of the lagoon, 8 superior rooms with a sea view, 2 standard rooms with a lagoon view and 7 standard rooms with a sea view.
Added to which, there is the Overwater suite: a little stone bridge leads to a large rock where the most special room in the whole resort is situated, the “suite on the rock”, with its garden and private Jacuzzi. In the evening the bridge is illuminated with candles, to create the sensation of being in an island on an island.
All the rooms are furnished in an Afro-Arabian style and have every possible comfort; finished in local materials, they constitute an exclusive product, ideal for all those wishing to stay in an environment in close contact with the beauties of nature. The colours and patterns of wood, as well as hand-woven fabrics, give these rooms a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
Some even have a veranda furnished with a traditional Swahili bed and a small sofa and coffee table for relaxing and enjoy the lagoon or sea view.
Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom and shower, satellite TV and a DVD reader, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer and beach towels.
