Built in terraces, and with a single outlook over yards and small squares, in the typical “neighbourhood” configuration, or distributed over several levels and connected by stairs and landings, they respect the structural characteristics of the Sassi "underground house", with the front made from tufa bricks and the back carved out of the rock.
