The Hotel

Full Board (excluding drinks)

The Posada de las Flores Punta Chivato is situated 56 km south of Santa Rosalia and 188 km north of the international airport of Loreto. Loreto Airport is served by scheduled flights from various airports in the United States and Mexico.

To reach the hotel by land it is necessary to leave the transpeninsular at Palo Verde and proceed for about 18 km on an unsurfaced road.
Partly renovated in 2000, and again early in 2006, the resort extends over a private area of about 25 hectares which faces the sea. Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of Santa Ines Bay, it provides an exclusive oasis for those who love tranquillity, nature and the sea.

The resort consists of 26 rooms of different types - some of which look onto the sea and others face the garden - , a swimming pool, an air-conditioned restaurant, an open-air bar/restaurant, and a tennis court.
In the reception area it will be possible to use the internet service free of charge but it will not be possible to call Italy. Cell phone reception is satellite only and subject to frequent interruptions. At times, tri-band cell phones succeed in getting a line for phone calls and text messages. The resort has wireless connections, but only in the communal areas (a free service). Its geographical position makes this location a convenient point for setting out on excursions to discover the spectacular landscapes and beautiful beaches of this area. TClub guests may use mountain bikes, kayaks, masks and flippers at no extra charge, while it is possible to hire boats for trips and deep sea fishing.

Italian staff will lend their assistance from 20 December to around 10 January. At the Punta Chivato TClub, the tap water is not drinkable. In your room you will find a complimentary bottle of purified water and a bottle of TClub mineral water, as well as two small bottles of water in the minibar (subject to a charge).  We invite you to make a careful and parsimonious use of running water, as a sign of respect for the resort’s environmental policy, but also because of the supply difficulties ensuing from the location of this resort. Furthermore, the resort is not connected with the electrical grid, but electricity is produced by an in-house generator. To maintain the generator and guarantee its efficiency, the system is normally switched off for a couple of hours a day (generally from 3 to 5.30 pm).
