At the restaurant of the Posada di Punta Chivato guests can enjoy excellent breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Mexican dishes are served alongside international cuisine in order to meet everyone’s tastes. The presence of local fare is a constant feature.
There is a wide selection to choose from at breakfast: from American coffee to tea and fruit juice. Croissants, cakes, fruitcake, toast, butter and marmalade, yogurt and cornflakes are always available. For those who prefer something tastier or typically Mexican, why not try the excellent tortillas with ham and cheese, puff pastry croissants with custard or jam filling, or ask for scrambled eggs and enchiladas. In this part of the world, lunch takes the form of a snack. Make your choice in the morning by selecting from a variety of proposals : sandwiches with chips, the house salads, quesadillas, fish or chicken tacos. Fruit or other extras may be requested, but are charged apart.
Dinner takes the form of a starter, a first course and a second course of fish or meat, crowned by a fruit dessert or ice-cream. The main ingredients used in these dishes are vegetables, prawns, fish, chicken and rice, all accompanied by an excellent selection of Italian and international wines. At the posada bar, aperitifs and cocktails are prepared using tequila, margarita and piña colada, typical local ingredients, and on certain occasions there are also tequila tasting sessions to enable guests to get to know and appreciate this local speciality.
